شراكة دولية مرتقبة بين جامعتي سوهاج الأهلية و نورث ويست

استضافت جامعة سوهاج الأهلية برئاسة الدكتور حسان النعمانى رئيس الجامعة وفدًا رسميًا من جامعة نورث ويست “جنوب أفريقيا”، وذلك في إطار جهود الجامعة لتعزيز التعاون الدولي والانفتاح على المؤسسات الأكاديمية المتميزة عالميًا، وبحث سبل الشراكة المشتركة بين الجانبين في المجالات التعليمية والبحثية.

وقد ضم الوفد كلا Mrs. Nontsikelelo Kote نائبه عن رئيس جامعة نورث ويست، Dr. Soobramoney Shernic مدير مركز العلاقات الدولية، Prof. Frederick Abraham Kotze عميد كليات الطب، Prof. Petra Bester مديرة الأبحاث بكلية الطب – Prof Sithandiw نائب العميد لضمان الجودة، Letlotlo Patience مساعد المدير التنفيذي للمشروعات الإستراتيجية.

واكد النعماني أن التعاون الدولي أصبح أحد الركائز الأساسية لتطوير التعليم الجامعي، تنفيذًا لتوجهات القيادة السياسية، مضيفا ان زيارة وفد جامعة نورث ويست الجنوب أفريقية تمثل خطوة مهمة في مسيرة الجامعة لبدء مشروع التعاون الدولى بين الجامعتين .

وأوضح الدكتور حسين عبد الحافظ نائب رئيس الجامعة للشئون الأكاديمية ان الوفد قام بجولة داخل عدد من المنشآت التعليمية والمعامل والقاعات الدراسية، وأشاد بما تمتلكه الجامعة من إمكانيات حديثة وبنية تحتية متطورة تعكس رؤية الجامعة نحو تقديم تعليم جامعي متقدم وفق المعايير الدولية.

و أوضح الدكتور اشرف عكاشة مدير العلاقات الدولية انه مناقشة فرص التعاون في تطوير البرامج الأكاديمية الحديثة، وتبادل الخبرات بين أعضاء هيئة التدريس، ودعم البحث العلمي المشترك، إلى جانب مناقشة تنفيذ برامج تدريبية وتبادل طلابي بما يسهم في إعداد كوادر مؤهلة تلبي متطلبات سوق العمل المحلي والإقليمي والدولي.

واعرب الوفد عن سعادته بجولته داخل جامعة سوهاج الأهلية لتكون ضمن خريطة تعاونها الدولي في مصر، مشيدين بالامكانيات الماديه للجامعة التى تعزز التعاون بين الجامعتين فى مختلف المجالات، مؤكدين علي التواصل خلال المرحلة المقبلة لوضع آليات تنفيذية للتعاون المشترك، بما يحقق المصالح الأكاديمية للجامعتين ويدعم مسيرة التعليم العالي والبحث العلمي.

وقد صاحب الوفد خلال الجوله كلا من الدكتور حسين عبدالحافظ نائب رئيس الجامعة الدكتور أشرف عكاشة مدير العلاقات الدولية الدكتور علاء يسري عميد كلية العلوم، الدكتور محمود المنشاوي عميد كلية الصيدلة ، الدكتوره رانيا المساوي عميد الكلية الحاسبات والذكاء الاصطناعي، الدكتور طارق عبد النعيم عميد كلية اللغات والعلوم الإنسانية، ، الدكتور ياسر عبدالفتاح أمين عام الجامعة المساعد.

Upcoming International Partnership Between Sohag National University and North-West University

Sohag National University, headed by Dr. Hassan El-Numani, President of the University, hosted an official delegation from North-West University, South Africa, as part of the university’s ongoing efforts to strengthen international cooperation, expand openness to distinguished global academic institutions, and explore prospects for joint partnership in educational and research fields.

The visiting delegation included Mrs. Nontsikelelo Kote, representative of the President of North-West University; Dr. Soobramoney Shernic, Director of the International Relations Center; Prof. Frederick Abraham Kotze, Dean of the Faculties of Medicine; Prof. Petra Bester, Director of Research at the Faculty of Medicine; Prof. Sithandiw, Vice Dean for Quality Assurance; and Letlotlo Patience, Executive Assistant for Strategic Projects.

Dr. Hassan El-Numani emphasized that international cooperation has become one of the fundamental pillars for developing higher education, in line with the directives of the political leadership. He added that the visit of the South African delegation represents an important step in the university’s journey toward launching a joint international cooperation project between the two institutions.

Dr. Hussein Abdel Hafez, Vice President for Academic Affairs, stated that the delegation toured a number of educational facilities, laboratories, and lecture halls, praising the university’s modern capabilities and advanced infrastructure, which reflect its vision of providing high-quality university education in accordance with international standards.

Dr. Ashraf Okasha, Director of International Relations, explained that discussions focused on opportunities for cooperation in developing modern academic programs, exchanging expertise among faculty members, supporting joint scientific research, as well as implementing training programs and student exchange initiatives to prepare qualified graduates capable of meeting the demands of local, regional, and international labor markets.

The delegation expressed its pleasure with the visit to Sohag National University, considering it a potential partner within its international cooperation network in Egypt. Members of the delegation praised the university’s facilities, which would support collaboration in various fields, and confirmed their commitment to continued communication in the coming period to establish executive mechanisms for joint cooperation that would serve the academic interests of both universities and support higher education and scientific research.

The delegation was accompanied during the tour by Dr. Hussein Abdel Hafez, Vice President of the University; Dr. Ashraf Okasha, Director of International Relations; Dr. Alaa Yousry, Dean of the Faculty of Science; Dr. Mahmoud El-Menshawy, Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy; Dr. Rania El-Massawy, Dean of the Faculty of Computers and Artificial Intelligence; Dr. Tarek Abdel Naeem, Dean of the Faculty of Languages and Humanities; and Dr. Yasser Abdel Fattah, Assistant Secretary-General of the University.
